This is the feeling you get when you’ve finally pull onto the dirt path after a couple of hours driving. If you have a dog, this might be the point where she can hardly contain herself jumping all over the backseat. Through the trees, you see a few cars and a posting board with a map of the area. After you pull your car into a shaded area in the parking lot, you get out of your car and give your body a large stretch to shake off the cobwebs from the drive. You are now at the trailhead with a wonderful adventure ahead of you. This is where I am, at the beginning of this blog.
